FASHION HAS CONSUMED ME!!!
Ok so another week draws to an end at FEDISA, oh and what a week it has been!
My life consists of eat, college, more college, homework and assignments, hopefully get some sleep and repeat the cycle over!
Don't get me wrong I love what I do and I guess in the world of fashion, hard work and determination is key!
Preparing for my end of year collection is uplifting my confidence beyond many levels!
This week we made various zip and seam samples which I am proud to say I have mastered :)

This week also saw me styling my brother for an event. Dressed in a classic black suit, he looked impeccable and stylish.

I have discovered my new favourite designer!!! Australian designer Alex Perry creates the most exquisite garments in a variation of textures and colours and pays considerable attention to detail. His designs portray the sophisticated modern woman, compliment the female form and accentuate femininity.

I see a lot of myself in this designer as I have an absolute love for corsetry and draping in my designs as well as creating a glamorous, sophisticated look. Alex Perry's designs empower the modern woman and will continue to inspire me to embrace the female form :)

As you all may know the prestigious J&B MET took place on Saturday, 29 January, where fashion exploded into the LARGER THAN LIFE theme. From extravagant headpieces, bold accessories and over-the-top outfits, fashion was at it's prime and everyone was out to make a statement.

I was fortunate enough for my designs to place as one of the finalists in the previous judging event, which took place on the quirky morning show, EXPRESSO. This placed me into the final round of the J&B MET Most Elegant Couple competition, where I got to experience the nail-biting and nerves of the tough fashion world. Above all, the experience and exposure fulfilled my expectataions and it was a true privilige to take part in such a prestigious event. My bold Royal blue ensemble was a true show-stopper!!!

FASHIONFASHIONFASHION! There simply cannot be a better way to vent about my love for fashion than to start a blog! Now we all love to get DOLLED-UP, but I want to explore every avenue of the fashion world with all the fashionista's around the globe!

I am also currently enduring my last year at Fashion School (FEDISA) where I will be basically living, sweating and bleeding in order to construct the most amazing Graduate Collection ever!

I want to share my experience wih you fellow fashionista's and learn and grow through this amazing experience!
